We are extremely proud to hear of the outstanding efforts and achievements by Zoubowa.

Zoubowa was selected to represent Victoria in Football (soccer) at the 2024 Australian Deaf Games in Newcastle, held in January earlier this year. He played several games at the event, scoring two individual goals and won a bronze medal after progressing to the semi-finals, where they were defeated by NSW.
Zoubawa's performance warranted an invitation to attend tryouts for the National team. The first of these sessions will be in April and the team will be finalised later this year in preparation for the Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan in November 2025.

These achievements are laudable, especially for one so young. Stay tuned for more developments as it comes to light.
